A great impovement Jeff - I have been playing with my skin recently and this definitely helps me keep everything in line. Just one minor thing - the MapDisplay Title and UpdateTime seems to be pulled from the ExtendedForecastItem in the skin.xml rather than paying attention to its own settings. Otherwise everything works great (and I can even get rid of the one-word version of "a while" in the downloading message, which frequently bugged me!).

Reven, in regards to the shutdown plugin it seems to work differently than the rest of the plugins in that there is not a "Selected" item and and a "Unselected" menu item. Also it works with the PNG files instead of just using the DrawRoundRct function... Maybe I'm just not using it correctly which is entirely possible. Big Grin

Dubya - you are right ill update the the skin so it uses two composite images for the buttons, and a composite image for the popupimage.

Hey Jeff I don't have the video archiver installed and when I go to try to get the weather plugin working it crashes on me. Any ideas what's up?

When you say cracshes do you mean it shows up in the GBPVR menu but crashes when you select it or that it never showed up at all. You can look at the gbpvr.exe.log file and it should tell you what went wrong during the load. Also, the commongbpvrutilties.dll file needs to be in the main GBPVR directory - do you have it there? I just tried it on my machine without the video archive plug-in and it worked fine.

Hello all, 1st post in the forums.

I just purchased a Media-MPV & PVR-150 and am using GB-PVR as front end. I downloaded & installed the Weather plugin. It's great.

But, never having edited an .xml file, I don't know which lines to modify to "fit" the Weather plugin to my tv screen. Most items in the xml file I see are 720x480 and so info is off the right & bottom of my screen.

Is there a "shrink image to fit screen" type setting I can change, or do I have to go through each line that has 720x480 to a smaller setting?

TIA,
crp

Go back to the older version of the Weather plugin.
It works just as well, and should fit the screen.
I had to do the same.
