US ATSC users - how did June 12th go?

A couple rescans picked everything up here in Dallas. Had to do it a couple times for the same reason above, not everything moved at noon.

Reception looks a little better, not much change other than that. I am 22 miles from the transmitters and have a large directional antenna in my attic with a preamp. I still have some dropouts. I think I need to move my antenna around a bit.

One change in Detroit area I'm trying to figure out.

WJBK the Fox affiliate's digital broadcast was moved to channel 7 from channel 58.

I now do not get this channel. A rescan will not show this station.

I suspect the signal just isn't strong enough. I am 60km away from the tower. I increased the height of my antenna this morning (ugh) and still no sign of it. All other UHF channels come in. I do have the VHF parts on my antenna.

anyone know if 60km is just too far for VHF digital to work?

I'd suggest posting on the forums at digitahome.ca they are usually on top of what we can get here in Canada.

My rescan on June 12 went fine except for NBC. Sadly enough, their signal is worse than any other channel now. I have heard it from several users in the area, some of them can't even receive NBC. NBC did report that their switch over went badly and they had some system issues, but you would think they could send a better digital signal than their analog signal was. Other than NBC the switchover was a non-event.
