I have been using GBPVR for about a week now (great job, sub!Wink and I just came across an odd problem.

I recorded two shows the other day and when I tried to view them, they played back in Fast Forward! Very odd.... the first few seconds were ok, then it went crazy. It happened to two shows recorded on the same night. Never before or since. I searched the message board, but found no threads with the same problem. Ideas anyone?

Thats a new one on me. After restarting GB-PVR does it still try to play these recordings in FF?

Yes.... even after restarting the services, it still plays in FF. I played the file on WMP and had the same results. It hasn't happened again in any other recordings. I am using a win-tv 250, btw. If memory is correct, it was the first time I scheduled shows back to back. Unfortunately, I already deleted one of the files. I'll schedule another b2b to test. I'll let you know if it happens again.

Awesome product sub, thanks for the hard work!

The same things happened to me once (and only once). The first few seconds were fine and then it starting running very fast. I also have a WinTV 250 card.

It has also happened once for me, but it didn't start before halfway through the recording. Has never occured again, though.

I also use a Hauppauge PVR250.

Does the audio still play at normal speed? If it does, and the video just starts playing like it is in FF then it more than likely is an Audio/Video sync issue in the file.

I've had this happen to me on other files, but just started using GBPVR so really haven't noticed it yet with it.
