Hong Kong DMB-T Setting

I would like to share my setting with Hong Kong GBPVR users who would like to use GBPVR for DMB-T digital TV. I am able to view 4 MPEG2 channels, but still working out for H.264 channels. Here are my settings.

TV Cards:
AverMedia A855 USB - Able to see 4 channels
Galaxy M6MA PCI-E - Able to scan channels, but no luck so far; only on TotalMedia
Hauppauge PVR-500 - This is my old good dual analogue tuner, will not discuss here.
Latest drivers.

Codecs: AC3Filter 1.46, WinDVD 9, Cyberlink included with driver disk.
AverTV 6, TotalMedia 3.5

Create a new file in BDA/DVB-T/*.ini

This will allow you to select "Hong Kong" as region and search channels faster.

i am very interesting in following this. i had been using gbpvr for a long while to record analogue programmes, with great success. using tvxb for the programme listings for terrestial tv.

jeromekwok, where are you getting the epg from using tvxb or is there a way to get it directly with the digital tv network? i notice the country file from tvxb only has hd jade (+the 4 SD channels).

I will update the HK HD channels defs for TVxb soonish. (Just back from summer vacation. It's first up on my list of things to do. Not least because TVB Pearl schedule is no longer downloading which impacts me personally!)

Is there any way to alphabetically re-sort that BDA.ini list, I thought I had misssed the entry but it was down below?

I used a spreadsheet to sort it.
Attached the sorted bda.ini.

btw the [Kworld 330U (ATSC)] was missing a leading "["

I added the "WinTV DMB-T digital HDTV/SDTV stick" from this post http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=33480

updated bda.ini (and sorted) - It's not in the current gbpvr version bda.ini file (yet)

Just wondering, did you end up adding this setting to the current bda.ini? I can't find it in the latest release?

Also attached the July 09 spreadsheet I used to sort the names so these are alphabetically ordered in Config, Capture Sources, Recording Source, Settings, Device type. Might (or might not) be useful to develope subsequent BDA's. I would have thought some simple code in the drop down could sort it though.
