Hello all, happy new years!

To celebrate, I picked up a HVR1600 for my DVR. I've installed the current drivers from Hauppauge, but when I'm trying to configure it, config tells me that the drivers are not installed. I have 2 PVR150's that are configured & working well.

Is there a guide for configuring this card?

The capture device needs to set to #1, since its the first HVR-1600 in the machine. The PVR-150's are device #1 and #2.

Thanks Sub! That did the trick. So for the QAM/Digital, would it be Device 1 also?

Thanks you two!

Geez... I gotta add stuff to this box more often, otherwise I'll forget everything if I don't! Big Grin

While I was at it, I also installed Win XP, upgraded to a ATI Radeon 4650 AGP, 1GB of system memory, yanked the 4 200GB drives in favor of a 1.5TB Seagate. and replaced the PS with a 650W Antec. Overclocked the AthlonXP to 2.2GHz as well. Should be good for another 3-4 years now! Big Grin

Heh, the old 400W no-name power supply failed in a most spectacular fashion. It was jetting sparks and smoke out from the back of it! That was the whole reason that I started on this in the first place!
