"Play Program" button

What does "Play Program" do? In what situations would you use that vs "Streaming"?

usually for local lan access where speed of connection isn't an issue...

Correct.....play simply sends the whole file via http:// for your player to play.....stream converts the video into a streaming format and bitrate that you select based on you preferences and connection speed.
