Trying to add registry entries for Aussie Channels

While trawling around looking for a solution to the problem of being unable to tune any channels here in Sydney with my Yuan MPG600, I came across this thread;

This seemed to offer some hope so I created .reg file as instructed, it looks like this;

Once completed I double-clicked the file and everythiing seemed to go alright, but when I started regedit and had a look at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\TV System Services\TVAutoTune\TS0-0, nothing had changed
Anyways can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong, or if in fact I am barking up the wrong tree altogether?

I think that is the right thing to do, assuming you've got the right frequencies for Sydney.

If the new settings weren't visible in regedit there was most likely something wrong with the file you created. You might be best to enter these settings using regedit to make sure they're entered correctly. After that, you can always export that registry key to a file for backup purposes.

Actually they look like the original frequencies for Australia, so there is a good chance it will do nothing different. I suspect it is already using exactly these frequencies as these are the defaults for australia: http://msdn.microsoft.com/library....lia.asp

Thanks again sub, I got it right now. I needed to add channel numbers between the inverted commas on the second line of each reg entry. That's why nothing showed up before.

Any chance you could email me a shot of what your registry looks like in the appropriate points? I haven't even seen a working model so I'm kinda working in the dark.
