I have my videos stored on a Windows Home Server Share \\WHSERVER\Videos
with sub-directories like \\WHSERVER\Videos\Lightroom, in the Directories tab of GBPVR config I have browsed to the network location and selected \\WHSERVER\Videos and given it an alias of WHSVIDEOS.
I can select and play the videos in all the directories when I use the PCH Media Sources, Network Browser. When I start mvpmcx2 from the Web Services and select the Video Library in GBPVR I can see the alias WHSVIDEOS but when I select it nothing happens ie it does not drill down to the sub-directory.
The GBPVR Client on the server works fine and finds all the directories.
As a test I put the same video on the GBPVR server local disk and this works using mvpmxc2 on the PCH.
Where I am lost is if it is a networking problem why does the PCH have no problems using the Network Browser to find the directories and play the videos?
I have the Guest account on both the GBPVR server and the WHS Server.
Any ideas would be most welcome.
