NMTinstall for GBPVR no longer working?

Hi

When i run NMTinstall for GBPVR the installer hangs with the message "Please upgrade NMTInstall to version 1.3" ... Any ways of getting around this?

No I guess not right now. I forgot that I needed to change NMTInstall to never download 1.4.7 or patches because they don't exist. If you just want to get mvpmcx2 you can use NMTInstall2

Ok .. I tried that but could not get it to work ...

The thing is that I got another PCH and I cannot get it to work properly. When i try to start GBPVR from my normal c:\mvpmc share, the GBPVR main screen only fills around 1/3 of the screen and when playing back video there is no audio. I thought this might be related to the new mac address not being registrered, so I wanted to make a new c:\mvpmc2 share for the new PCH ... Is there any way I can copy the old files and enter the new mac address manually? I looked around in the files but couldn't figure it out ...

You should be able to up to add a second PCH just by copying the MAC block in config.xml. However if you are running on an SD monitor note these changed instructions for the latest version of mcpmcx2 http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...2011-02-28

If changing that doesn't help run the NMT Syntax check and use the IP of the new PCH and copy that info into a message here.

Just out of curiosity - why do you need the MAC adress of the device?

I have two NMT's & an MVP all hooked up to different TV's two of which are 4x3 & one 16x9, all have different settings in config for displaying on the particular TV they are attached to, without something like the MAC address how would it know which settings to use for which device??

Thanks ... My tv's all have the same aspect ratio and resolution, so I never considered that ...
