For this update I forgot to mention there is another command line option
--cs-algo 601 or 709 which lets you force a colorspace for the mixer.

In testing my ShareHelper service I noticed that some of the logic to play files locally on the NMT wasn't working and DVD's never should have worked. This is now fixed.

Dumb question but I've built a new system an 'some-timers' has set in.....where do I place the new mvpmcx2 file? Shouldn't it be in the c:\mvpmc directory? I didn't see one there to replace.

NMTInstall should create the folders you need. Did you check the details when you ran it for errors?

It shows as completed and doesn't show any errors. Would the fact that I chose my 'D' drive make any difference?
I've set this up before on W7 beta and don't recall having these problems.

It shouldn't. It won't hurt to untick everything except mvpmcx2 and try again and copy the details to the clipboard and post them if there still is a problem.

I'm good. Network discovery kept turning off but something I did stopped it????
Anyway, things are working and the Guest account is turned off. Not sure about that.
PCH is much, much smoother now. Even better than in Vista. I'm loving it!

i gotta ask - have you been tinkering with the skipping logic? It seems to be getting smoother all the time w/ clear QAM recordings.
