Sydney Australia scan .ini Settings

Hi all, im having 2 issues, Which are the only 2 preventing me from using GBPVR as my only media pc solution... If someone with more knowledge than me can make sense of it and give me an ini file to try... I would be eternally greatful!!!


I have run scanchannelsbda and got this output... I ran it twice, the 2nd time ignoring the Quality/Signal option...

Im not able to pickup SBS in the channel scan in GBPVR config..... but the scan does find channel nine HD.... but when i change to it in GBPVR "live tv" it says no signal....


I thought it might have been signal related, but my hdtv's tuner picks up all the channels no problems.... and windows media centre works fine with the tuner im using atm (asustek 7131 MyCinema) and picks up all channels.... i like gbpvr's flexibility when choosing codecs and .ts recording etc if it worked for SBS and channel 9 i would give MCE the flick

Since you're in Australia, and I think this card doesnt do auto offsets, you'll probably need to enable the 'explicitly scan dvb-t offsets' option in the config app.

Ive done that! before i did that it didnt even find channel 9... one thing i have noticed... is that the +125 offset works until about half way through the scan, and then the offset changes to +160.... is this right? from what ive read we only use the +125 offset here....

ahhh i take that back... i think it was the older version of gbpvr that was doing the +-160khz offset... new one stays with +-125 It seems like SBS is working now... now the only problem im having is Channel 9 still.... Which is strange, since it finds it in the scan, when i change to the channel to watch it i get "no signal" and ive confirmed every other channel is watchable... channel 9 comes up in the scan, Channel 9's new sister channel "Go" doesnt work either... seems like something channel 9 has done to their stream but it works in mce?

Thanks graham, ive already run scanchannelsbda... and scanchannelsbda finds channel 9 without a prob and above is the log file from the scan.... Windows Media Centre on Vista tunes into and plays and records channel 9 without a problem... in the GBPVR channel scan it finds Channel 9... its only when i go to live tv and try and watch channel 9 (their Digital,HD and sub channels) It says i have no signal at all... i think its more that gbpvr cant read the stream for some reason... if it was signal related why does mce work and not gbpvr? same computer... same tuner card...

What frequency does scanchannelsbda find it on?

Also, can you do a scan in GB-PVR, then post the config.exe.log and config.exe-native.log file?
