I have a HVR 930 and uses the "c" part. Normaly it records as expected, but occasionally it seems like it is recording, but it only creates a file that is 5 kb. This can happen when i just turn on my media center, open the EPG and hti the record button on a show that is already started.
Yesterday i did this in the second half of a football game, and i think the log looks "funny"(20:53 to 22:15).

Can anyone tell my what's going on?

NB:
I uses MS DVR Mux!

That section of your log shows repeated attempts to lock onto the signal, but the device failing to get a signal lock.

Ok thanks for your reply, sub.
What could the reason be? Maybe i should setup some kind of restart of the HVR930-usb device after mediacenter-wakeup?

I dont know. Maybe that particular frequency is marginal, and some times its unable to lock. I've noticed the 930C's tuner has problems with some of the frequencies that my Twinhan Mantis has no problems on.

ok.
What Twinhan Mantis card do you use? The 930c is also very slow when changing channels, which is annoying. Is the Twinhan Mantis slow?
