Skin Plugin returns to Main Menu

As I reported in another thread, I have a problem with the skin plugin dumping back to the main menu when I am selecting graphics and select a folder. See the reply from javawiz here.

I have reinstalled CS4 SD and it is still happening. I can select a graphic OK, but if I select a folder item it dumps back to main menu. It seems to be not finding graphics or .xml files is the problem. I seem to recall that the info.xml files were required in each resource folder, but I don't see them there any more, and my fiddling with some didn't resolve it.

Do the following two files exist in your setup?

No, there are no xml files in the resource directories. Previous skin plugin was uninstalled.

What's your CurrentTheme.xml file look like? And have you tried a clean install?

Will try a clean install of CS4 SD here later today. I think it will be a simple problem once found (fingers crossed Smile

Can't reproduce with the latest version of GB-PVR and CS4.

I install on a clean machine (including plugins\common folder) and then run the SkinPlugin. Choose Graphics, Background. Shows the CS Blue folder OK and then I can also go into that folder and see the two variants (with the current one even correctly marked with a *).

fatman / roy: is there something I'm doing wrong or different?

CurrentTheme.xml attached. Yes, this is after a clean install.

I don't think so. When I go to Graphics>Main Menu Overlay, I see:
[CS Blue]
[CS Blue Dark]
Transparent*
I can select Transparent* item with no problem, but if I select any of the folders, I get returned to main menu.

Do you have any .xml's in the resource folders? I do not, and the errors refer to not finding them.
