MUX question

Comcast just did their digital conversion so now recording using the HVR-1600 in ATSC the recordings are DVR-MS which the MVP cannot process. Tried experimenting with the DVR-MS transcode option on the Processing tab in Config. The ATI mux gives me video and no audio. The Cyberlink gives me a staticy (?) picture and no audio. Anyone have any suggestions on muxs for transcoding? So that I can watch the shows via the MVP.

http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=7229 Setting the BDA Multiplexor on the Misc tab to Cyberlink or whatever should give you recorded files in .mpg format that should work with the MVP. The above thread and its links include essays on the subject. Afterthought: Does the MVP handle .ts files? Also selectable via BDA Multiplexor. |
