Installing the linked vcredist_86 (labeled 2005) allowed for the proper installation of 1.4.7.
thx

Yes, I downloaded and installed the linked version from Sub's post.
I checked the event log and it says it's installed fine. Checked files date/size. It's fine. But 1.4.7 still doesn't install. How do I find out why it's erroring? Is there a log?

Has anyone figured out the problem with this?
(I have downloaded and installed the linked vcrdist and even veryified that it's the right date/time stamp) But I get the same error

Installed the new Vcredist Double checked it was the correct download and Psiparser won't register here either. Running win2000. I noticed the psiparser error when I installed 1.4.7 but everything seemed to run fine except livetv on the MVP's. I ran reregister filters and it throws the following regSvr32 error box:
LoadLibrary("PsiParser.ax") failed-The specified procedure could not be found. Everything else gives a "succeeded" ok box. anyone know what psiparser.ax does? just curious.
Same exact problem here, running Windows2000, so far everything seems to be working OK though.
vcredist_x86.exe Version 2.0.50727.4053 Sunday, July 12, 2009, 3:12:50 AM 2.58 MB (2,705,744 bytes) Event Viewer: Product: Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable -- Configuration completed successfully. And the error when trying to register or unregister PsiParser.ax: LoadLibrary("C:\PROGRA~1\devnz\gbpvr\PSIPAR~1.AX") failed-The specified procedure could not be found. I upgraded GBPVR on one client machine running Windows-XP and there were no problems, so my guess is that it the problem might be specific to Windows-2000?

Sub - Can I imply from that, that you are dropping support for win2000?
Ture it's outdated but it's nice to use old machines for something. I don't think I used digital channels as I use a pvr-350 card and in Canada there is no "Standard" to-the-home digital channels yet. Just a hodge-poge of different carrier stuff. Still if it's a quick fix would be nice if Win2k still worked 'offically' Cheers.
