Skin & OSD for 16:9?

Hi,

i'm running a widescreen TV on the TV-out of my PVR-350. But in widescreen mode some informations from the skin are cut away, especially the OSD informations are not visible. Is there a Skin optimized for 16:9 or maybe a workaround?

This is because the overscan on some TVs pushes some information off the the screen. There is no work around at the moment, but hopefully in the next release I'll make this feature skinable so that these items can be moved a little further away from the edge of the screen.

Actually since you're using a PVR350, you could try adjusting the PVR350 screen size in the config.xml.

Hey U-dog have you tried my skin by chance... I'd be interested in how it works on a 16:9 screen. I'd love to hear your comments.

Hi Dubya, your skin looks great, but the problem persists. In 16:9 mode only the menu is visible, informations on the upper and lower are cut. Maybe a skin in letterbox format may solve the problem.

Sorry for a newbie question. . .

I also have a PVR350 and a 16:9 tv, however I have no idea how to change the settings in config.xml? I can edit the xml easily enough, and I assume I should be changing one of the aspect ratio settings, but what to?
