Hi all Smile;
As explained in the title, i'm using Compro Videomate as DVB-S reciever, this card works well with ProgDVB and DVBDream, but when i us the GB-PVR i get no signale...:confused:

I tried to do some modification on the BDA.ini file but without success, the actual lines are (after modifications Big Grin):

[VideoMate S500 Digital Device]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-S
SUPPORTS_BDA_DISEQC=3
FILTER_TUNER=VideoMate S500 DTV Tuner
FILTER_CAPTURE=VideoMate S500 Digital Video
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2-Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=MPEG2-Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=MPEG2-Transport

I attached the FilterCheck.exe results and all the log files if that can help :o

Can i have some help Please.

I cant see an obvious cause in the logs. It looks like it goes through the motions, but the device never manages to lock onto a signal. Maybe make sure you've got your LNB settings set correctly.

I have one of these- doesn't seem to like GBPVR. I couldn't really get it to operate consistently. Mostly fine in Prog DVB (with Diseqc support), but still not up to domestic PVR standard.
Compro DVB-S drivers seem a little odd. Stick with Hauppauge (but not the Nova S+ USB, which is a pile of bobbins).

Pent Dx2 2.8GHZ > Intel D945GNT > Win7/64 > NPVR > 2x Nova HD-S2+ for 28E / 13E / 19E > Nova S+ for 1W 5W > BGT3620 > HD3450 PCIe: EVR/SAF

[VideoMate S500 Digital Device]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-S
FILTER_TUNER=VideoMate S500 DTV Tuner
FILTER_CAPTURE=VideoMate S500 Digital Video
PIN_TUNER_IN=Output0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2-Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=MPEG2-Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=MPEG2-Transport

I think this is what I used.

They are pretty rock solid. Everything else I have tried has fallen short in some way!

The S500 is still very good as a research setup on my laptop with (whispers) ProgDVB, put this software isn't really up to use as a domestic PVR.
