Hello,

Thanks to the helpful information on this forum I have managed to get the EPG set up (I get the list of channels and got the capture source to recognise the device type.

I am then trying to map digital channels to EPG channels.

The scan reports - "no channels found"

I am getting a good signal on the compro DTV program.

Has anyone got suggestions how I can get gbpvr to find the channels?

Do the scan again, then zip and attach the config.exe.log and config.exe-native.log and I'll take a look.

Searching the forum uncovered some issues with the compro drivers discussed in 2005-2006 but nothing recent. I had hoped that the latest versions of drivers which I have loaded would have fixed these issues in the last 2-3 years.. Maybe I should try and use the original drivers.

When setting up, Compro DTV program does not appear to scan for digital channels - only for analogue channels.

Other applications eg video capture from VCR work fine. The main problem I have is that recording digital chanels using Compro DTV have a sound sync delay. I had hoped that gbpvr would be a solution.

It seems the people at Compro don't know thier devices that well either. It seemed like an elegant product combining Analogue and Digital tuner, it is let down by poor quality software.

Correct

Thats why my compro T300 is gathering dust in the corner

What you need to do is Post where you live ( as in what transmitter you receive your freeview on )
Someone who lives in that area could post his scan cache and you could just copy it into your bda directory

The reason why the compro doesnt work is cos a few years ago they decided to REMOVE some functionality from their driver (the wankers)
I think v1.3.1.24 was the last one to have all necessary bits in the driver , hope this helps you.

Has anyone got the Compro DVB-T300 working?

I am having a problem getting it to scan channels.
I am getting a sig. strength of zero for all channels and a quality of between 15 and 45. Other tuners have no problems.

Am on the older drivers that have been reported in other threads and have tried BdaPsiParser settings true/false but still no luck.

Yes I managed to get it going... Scanning channels in GBPVR did not work with the latest compro driver (1.3.5.7) which was installed on my machine.

I Followed the instructions in the forum post..
http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=1...stcount=21
Working driver can be downloaded from
http://www.birseyindir.org/driver/Compro..._5405.html

Uninstall of latest driver and install of driver 1.3.1.24 allowed the scan to find the digital channels. I have not tested the effect of using the old driver on other tools (VideoStudio) I use for analogue caputure of VHS camcorder video.

GOOD news is that gbpvr recorded with no apparent sound sync problems which has always been the issue with the Compro DTV program - Thank you GBPVR.

Thank you for your assistance - this forum is a gold mine of information
