Hauppauge tuner driver disappearing?

I have used GBPVR without this problem for quite some time. In the last couple of weeks recordings have been missed. When I looked into the problem my tuner was not working (HVR 1600 digital QAM). I reinstalled the hauppauge drivers and everything was good, until yesterday. Now the same thing seems to have happened again. Any idea what would be causing this?

I've got a 1600, and it works well, but I've occasionally seen it hang up, requiring a power down (pull the plug, not just a reboot). See if a full power down fixes things just as well as your driver re-installation did.
