I've read here that you need to make an inbound rule to get EWA to work from outside the network.

What specific application (exe file) needs access?

I think that this should be in the help section for setting up remote access of the EWA as I can't remember what I had it set up as on XP and I can't find it on the forums.

I found out what the problem was. Windows 7 Firewall lets you tie the rule to a running sevice, so I thought I should tie it to gbpvrrecordingservice.exe. That doesn't let it work. If you just tie it to the program gbpvrrecordingservice.exe, it will work. Also, don't use the gbpvrrecordingservice.exe that is in the GBPVR\web\bin\ folder. That won't let it work either (it's kinda misleading as it made me think the EWA uses that one instead of the one in the GBPVR\ folder).
