lol - true.

I have worked for them for about 18 months, which is when I started to get really busy with my day job, and with the unfortunate side effect of not managing to find as much spare time for GB-PVR development.

In case you're curious, the WinTV development team is also a small team, consisting of a total of one developer.

LOL! No cognitive gaps in that team and certainly arguments are a tad one sided! Your team BBQ's must be a hoot! Wink

The only reason I keep quiet on it, is that I fear the increased expectation from users of Hauppauge devices when they have driver or signal or other weird bugs, expecting that I'll be able to coordinate the fix from within Hauppauge. The reality is I dont the available time to chase these sorts of things.

Does that mean you'll not be porting 2250 drivers and forking WinTV to BeOS any time soon? Big Grin Honestly, I thrilled that your hobby has turned into a fantastic oppurtunity. Good for you!

I've been working for them for nearly two years, so even though you've just heard about it, its old old news. Hauppauge had me write WinTV7 the way they wanted it...they wouldnt be then going to buy some other software to replace their newly developed software. Also, they're more interested in the 2ft UI type apps, and leaving 10ft UI's to Microsoft.

Well knock me down with a feather - I missed this thread.

I actually posted on the hophog forums how impressed I was with WinTV7 after installing it on Windows7.

And when I first started using GBPVR, in one of my rants:o on the hophog forums about shortcomings of earlier WinTV's, I suggested they hire the developer of GBPVR to rewrite their software!
