As you can read (i am sorry for the german message), there responds nothing to port 7647 (it is configured within gb-pvr, firewall and forwarded within router).
Because i am now at work, i tried this connection via internet. But the message says that the windows firewall is configured correctly, but perhaps a third party firewall blocks.

But, here's never a third party firewall, configuration is same as ever. FTP and TeamSpeak 2 Server are running fine as before.

I am really confused, why EWA is not respondig anymore on my system (ever after new and clean installation).

Yes that is strange.....and without the English verbiage for the pop-up error it is hard to figure out what is occurring.

You could try a complete re-install of EWA including clearing the .Net ASP.Net cache......the cache sometimes can cause these types of issues.

  • Stop the gbpvrrecording service.
  • Follow the clean install directions for EWA as listed on the wiki (I know you already did this but for grins just do it again) Wink
  • Delete directory: C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\Temporary ASP.NET Files\gbpvr
  • Restart recording service

Let me know what happens.

Nothing... Big Grin Just nothing happened. But i tried another way, it sounds crasy, but it worked:

• Changed in the Config Tab the Web Port to 8000 and restarted the recording service.
• Changed in the Config Tab the Web Port to DISABLED and restarted the recording service.
• Reenabled in the Config Tab the Web Port to 7647 and restarted the recording service.

Ta-daa... now it's working again; i can reach my lovely ewa and watch again television and movies while working. Wink

Perhaps this way helps someone else too.

Well...that is a new one for sure.....I am not sure what would casue that. I know that there are a few of us that the recording service has an issue when running for a liong time and the port becomes unreachable......I setup a scheduled task on my machine that auto-restarts the recording service once a day and I have not had the issue since.

Glad to hear you are back on-line with EWA. Big Grin

Is your GBPVR recording service set to use the local system account or a specific user account?
