This way the folder can be removed if all recordings have been deleted. The image could also be displayed in the information popup in the TV Guide.

Just for completeness: this feature can already be implemented by using wizimagrabber to download showname.jpg to meda\art folder either for every show in your EPG or for a specifc show. These images are then picked up by alibert's TV Listings / TV Recordings plugin.

But yes, it would be good if it did this right out of the box.

how about showing pending by the show?

Right now there are pending recordings by time. Pending by show would allow me to see if I need to update any of my shows that keep changing on me.

I did not know that. (I really need to look more closely at the available plugins.)

also when you are navigating around tv guide its hard to see where you are when a tv program is marked red to record

Can't recall if this was mentioned before but the mini guide takes up too much tv real estate for my liking. Maybe the fact I don't use it on a 42" tv makes a difference but it looks to be just about the bottom 1/3 of the screen. If at all possible, allow the user to set (maybe 2-3 choices) how much of the screen they want it to use.
Yes, I'm being very picky with this request.

The ability to Record from Live-TV while in Time-Shift mode. I mean where it works reliably. Just a reminder from from this tread http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=44338

One more vote for this problem. Maybe the answer is to allow you to scroll the text while it's popped up over the video. It's frustrating to have to stop the video, read the description from the TV listing, and then go back to the video...

I guess this is UI and my only wish so far.

Ability to add a description to a new folder created on Main Menu as per this thread.

I posted a thread about sub-titles in DVB-C (I guess this also applies to other DVB formats) in the mvpmcx2 sub-forum and got the answer I was suspecting. It is up to GB-PVR to handle sub-titles.

This is the thread:

Sub, is it possible to get this implemented in GB-PVR?
It is not the most important feature, more of a nice to have and WAF-enhancer :-)

Here's another (hopefully very simple) thing I've thought of: the ability to show the file size next to recordings. In MB or GB depending on whether the file is less than or greater than 1GB.

<waits on being told of yet another plugin I've never heard of that already does this Rolleyes>
