A UK radio times one of analogue and STB Sky channels. Not sure if there is any difference to gED's which looks like the freeview channels. (my freeview from dvb broadcast).

I'd never noticed the 'credits' field before!

Maybe this has been mentioned before, but I was thinking that the ability to select a different DVD Renderer than the LiveTV and Recordings Playback Renderer would be a great feature. I know you know where I am heading with this. Using EVR for Playback of LiveTV or Recordings, and use VMR9 for DVD. Then the DVD/ISO playback wont freeze if you hit pause/fwd/rev and the esc (exit) would work. Also be able to take advantage .net3.5 EVR with smooth tear free playback in LiveTV and Recordings, as well as the better looking UI OSD graphics in PVRX2 Big Grin

I want to check what sort of attributes are present in your files, and look at the average lengths of title/subtitle/description fields.

Here ya go.

Hi sub... I was going to attach mine with Charter analog cable and QAM from the Upper Midwest in USA but the file size is 2.6mb (to big). Do you want me to email it, or do you have enough samples?

I assume you could do an EPG update of just a couple days to get the file much smaller for sub.

The attached is UK Freeview from Radio Times after going thhrough Zehd's jolly good enhancer. The Credits have been added to the Description field and the Desc field can be quite long.

Like one of the posts previously, I'd like to see a few more transition/fade/transparency effects throughout the application - make it look a bit slicker. Some of the stuff like the popups is already cool, just more of it!

Also, I'm a big fan of the fanart-type views in XBMC, it would be great if GBPVR could automatically scrape IMDB for information on your movie collection and have a more comprehensive view to see that, then download fanart/coverart from somewhere like TheMovieDB in the same way XBMC does. I like the way it uses these images as backgrounds when you're browsing your collection.

I don't know if this already exists, but the capability for plugins to change the background image would be useful - as part of the fanart-style request above, but also for things like the music plugins, a possible Spotify plugin, BBC iPlayer, etc.

As far as usability goes, I can't fault the app though, there's nothing much more I'd like to see added on that front. Just bring it a little up to date on a 'pretty' level. Also, I'd like to echo the thanks of all the other users for opening up for suggestions - keep up the great work Smile

Edit FYI, I was talking about something like this: http://xbmc.org/wordpress/wp-content/gal...seinfo.jpg

Hmmm, I cannot remember how to select the amount of days for the EPG. I am using MC2XML. Pointers?

Thanks - but I'm probably with the samples I've got so far from MC2XML in the US.
