Egreat no video or audio

Just installed my egreatm34a. install had no problems/errors( startup screen mayhem looks great) but i cannot see any video or hear audio when i press play from guide. (works fine on my htpc gbpvr playback) i cannot see video or hear audio when i try to play back videos in my video folder. If I play video from egreat netwprk video folder it play fine. Nothing plays back in the gbprv program except pictures. ???????????????

no need to send logs. i reset my egreat and it works now

now i am trying to figure the remote mappings for the egreat. it is different than to ph remote... no colored buttons

Good news, I would have thought a server reboot fixes media playback, but I am glad this help. For EGreat specifi keys only two right now

is there a way to page up/down on egreat remote in the guide. also direct channel access in guide mode?

I've been bugging sub to swap the EPG navigation keys off the colours for a couple of years. I hate skipping by days with the standard keys.

I don't know for sure what direct channel access mode is. You should be able to navigate by channel number. I enable the option to require an Enter since I think that works better on the NMT.

Thanks, direct access does work when I press enter. How do I record from watching live tv mode? There is no record key on nmt remote.

Jaggy wrote he was going to update the wiki on the remote and I assumed he was going to include the EGreat. If you have an angle key that would be it. Here is the reference

Yes I know I still have to do that part of the wiki (along with about 10,000 other non wiki things that need done <grin>) & I thought this message would be a good opportunity to get a list of all the keys for the M34a to add as well....but.....

I actually went to reply to this message & then thought I better go & look at my M34a remote first & found there is no angle key on, so I thought I would wait for Martin's reply instead which doesn't really help much I know...sorry

Ok, I had a look again, http://forums.gbpvr.com/attachment.php?a...1242409120 and there are two keys that I still have available Delete (don't hit it it does an undocumented reset) and TimeSeek. EGreat users will have to tell me what they think is important.

Part of the problem is the GBPVR UI is designed to use a lot more keys than many remotes have these days. I count 45.
