NMT A100 stopped playing video

My PCH A100 has stopped playing video from my GBPVR server.

It will play files stored on it's HDD and the menu functions of gbpvr are working fine, just when you select play the screen goes black for a few seconds and retudn to the recordings library.

I have updated the firmware of the PCH and run pvrx2 on a networked PC which works fine so the files and gbpvr setup all seems OK.

That could be firewall related, but compress and upload your logs and I will see if I see anything else.

Log attached. I havent changed anything on the firewall, but have rebooted to be on the safe side.

Only other thing i can think is my girsl were watching a video from GBPVR video library and when that stopped the NMT black screened so I have to remove the power.

I have also updated mvpmcx fusing the community installer to no avail so have replaced with original as screen resolution changed.

only other thing i can think is to format HDD in the nmt and start again.

Something has changed on the server side and the web server is not starting

If it is not the firewall, check that the Recording Service is set to Interact with the desktop.

Thanks Martin, I will let you know how I get on.

Service looked OK with Interact set, so I tried a repair install but it failed, so I have recovered an old image and replace the DB with mine and all looks OK.

Anything else I need to change such as config.xml

Glad you got it, config.xml hasn't changed much for the NMT since 2009 so you probably are ok. There are a few patches to PVRx2 that you should really have, hopefully your image has them. Also you might not have the new mvpmx2 on this image, but you wrote you are using CSI so that should be local on the NMT.

Looks like it's done it again, windows updates are switched off, so I'm not sure what's happening.

Sorry I can't help, I have no idea what the problem is, although whatever it is, is not an mvpmcx2 issue. It might be worthwhile considering NextPVR at this point.

I've started looking at Next PVR but as GBPVR had been so stable was reluctant to change, but this as you say might have given me the push I need.
