I hope this isn't off topic (bare with me)
I have just started using GB-PVR and it's perfect for my EPIA M10000, Hauppauge setup (Well done all involved). I have an issue with the VIA drivers where by the Overlay settings are too bright. I can adjust this in the Windows display settings, but changing the Saturation randomly affects the colours, they jump about as if I was changing the HUE.
I am using the THX optimiser with "The Phantom Menace" and "The Incredibles". The first screen shows 8 shades of white. All of which are white for me at the moment.
If I open WinDVD I can correct the brightness/saturation and get the colours right (or near enough, I'm not a total perfectionist). However when I save them and open GB-PVR (using the intervideo DVD player) they are still too bright. I assume the WinDVD settings are for WinDVD only and GB-PVR cannot use them?
Can GB-PVR control the brightness of the overlay, or the settings of the DVD playback.
I'm a bit confused and would really appreciate the help.
Thanks,
Nanook
