yea, the config will not understand the modified value. Can you try blank too? And then send the logs from 2-0 and blank so that I can see where it's complaining.

It definitely got furthur with 2-0 than with blank. I've just been doing some reading up on the MSI site - not tuner right? only composite? So this card is composite video in only, no audio, no s-video, no tuner? That would explain why it's breaking.

So on the wanted list: quality settings & lack-of-tuner support.

The Card has this connector for Video in and out:



It dose not have a tuner tho. Right now the only program I have found working for this card is ShowShifter (source by s-video, composite is buggy).

*grin* okay. I think I've found a way to get tuning=None to actually disable the tuner support 100% so we're looking at a copy that might work with your card.
