Hi All,
I've finally got my PSP to stream my recordings from my HTPC.
I used IRSHELL and psplayer 2.0 with something called nethostfs.
nethostfs runs on the host machine and allows IRSHELL to access all the files in that directory. Psplayer 2.0 homebrew allows for playing of almost all types of video as long as its less than 480x272.
The streaming is 802.11 b only so it can be finicky. For talking heads the sound is perfect but the video can be choppy at times but it's acceptable. I think music streaming would be perfect.
The limitation of 480x272 is crummy but at least now I only have to convert once for my old CRT, portable DVD player and PSP.
Cheers.
