I didn't realize every one needs to be edited. The difference is that in GB-PVR the call letters are preceeded by a number. So I guess there is no getting around the manual work of either mapping each one in capture sources, or editing the guide name for each one in HR setup. Pick your poison.
I do appreciate the work you put into this. I don't know if it will save me any time, however, should I want to map another channel in the future. Seems I need to wipe the slate clean to do this without making a mess of the guide, for some reason.
I just want to say thanks for this one. I wish it had been part of GB-pvr without having to search for it. Maybe it is still beta, but it made using my hdhomerun a snap. Thx, Mab
For what it does and helps, it this is a very very useful tool. The current method for channel mapping for GBPVR and silicon dust HD is unbelievable and too pain staking. Since i have to re-scan often the HDhomerun for new channels gained and lost, this has been very useful. Even if the process steps may be a bit, at least it does the auto mapping and know what I need to tweak in terms of guide names from the HDHomerun setup, and GBPVR config to get match.
Thanks.
