Hallo,

my dvb-c card "cablestar HD CI" is not supported at the moment. But i was successful to run this card by editing the "bda.ini" file.

Unfortunately i can´t choose the "CI" in the menue "Digital Source Configuration" / "Common Interface". Only "MultiDec (MDAPI) is possible.

Did i something wrong in my bda-configuration or is there no support?

Sorry for my bad english. ;-)

Unfortunately the CI module on this device wont work with GB-PVR. There is no stands around how manufacturers add CI support to their devices, so they all do it different proprietary ways. Before GB-PVR can work with a specific device, code needs to be written to use that manufacturer proprietary interfaces.

Unfortunately I dont have one of these devices, or any information from the manufacturer about how their CI works, so its unlikely I'll be adding CI support for it. Sorry.

If you have a subscription card (smartcard) you can still use the device for encrypted channels, you'll need a smartcard-reader (Phoenix is the most used), a cardserver (NewCS works well) and a softcam such as Acamd. Search the forum for threads with these words and come back if you still have problems.

Hi Daniel,

could you post your changes to bda.ini for this card? I got the same and could need some help with the correct values.

Thanks in advance.
