Hallo experts,
I started 2weeks ago to set up my computer for digital cable TV.
I implemented a TechniSat Cable Star HD2 in my
MEDION AKOYA P4331 IntelCore i5-650, win7, 4 GB RAM, 1 TB HDD, GeForce G310
Then I started with the program 'MediaPortal' because I found a walk through how to set up the computer for my cable provider âziggoâ in the Netherlands.
I could install the card, found all channels but got stuck with the installation of the Mdapi-filter. So it is not possible for me to decode the tv-channels (I am owner of a valid card from Ziggo, working properly in a normal cable decoder)
Somebody gave me the advice to try it with gbpvr.
I downloaded the program, installed it easily, but canât find my TechniSat CableStar in the configuration list.
Do someone has any idea how to solve that problem, or should I give up?
greetings. esther
