there's a deinterlace file in the gb-pvr folder. That's a module from DScaler. I'm not sure where it gets used, double check with sub.

build 16:
New in 0.16 - May 3rd, 2005
- Deal with capture sources without a tuner or audio better.

this should help edmondt's errors, sorry it didn't get better for anybody else this time around :-( hey all I had to add was two conditional blocks!

Wow thanks, a new version just for me Smile I tried both s-video and composite and this time I have:

Error: A device attached to the system is not functioning.

Must be getting very close to working, I'm excited Smile

blegh, someone else was getting this too. For some reason the card refuses to 'pause' recording. I need to add an option to 'stop/pause/do nothing' when changing channels.

Well I've got sound and nothing else. I get "Failed to communicate.." when trying to watch Live TV. How do I keep it from starting in Time shift mode?

System info:

Shuttle SB51G-2 p4-2.8Ghz
1GB Ram
ATI Radeon 9600
WinTV Go
120GB Maxtor 8MB buffer

Interestingly enough the sound stays on even after I've stopped the app and only a reboot fixes it. I also have Office 2003 installed.

Thanks for looking!

madmike269: install the moonlight encoders.

The config option in the xml is LivePreviewMode, or you can change it in the config application in the Misc tab under Live Preview Mode.

I thought I had installed the decoders, I accidently installed the player instead. Well I now have picture but the sound is out of sync and I seem to be stuck on one channel and it's kinda fuzzy. I'll attach my logs and do some more searching. Thank you for all your hard work!!

My best,
Mike

hrm, not much I can do about the sound sync.

The logs only seem to show channel 6 and 402 being tried. Normally channels are 6,7,8,9 etc. (although antenna channels are more widly spaced, 4, 8, 34, 58 are mine)

Try allowing LiveTV in preview mode (It's a setting under Misc in the config app). PreviewMode will be more responsive and will be better quality.

Live preview seems to have helped a lot. Sound is back in sync and the picture is much clearer. Thank you very much for all the help!!

My best,

Ok, my joy was a little premature, only BBC1 and , gasp, Channel 5 work. Any ideas? There is a tuning assistant which I presume is to tweak the channel tuning but it obviously doesn't have a drop down for the PCTV rave and if I choose the closest one (PCTV deluxe, it comes up with an error) oh I'm using an internal aerial by the way could that be the problem?
