Hello!

Short description:
Card: Hauppauge Nova-T USB, work successfully with GBPVR for several years
Today no picture in PVRX2, everything is normal with Hauppauge software.

There haven' been any changes whatsoever in system (Win XP) - no new programs or anything. I did restart PC several times.
What could be the problem? Is it something in Windows that GBPVR uses and original software doesn't? But then again, there haven't been any changes in Windows...

Thanks!

Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the pvrx2.exe.log and pvrx2.exe-native.log and I'll take a look.

I see you have the video and audio decoders are set to 'system default', which effectively puts you at the mercy of whatever Windows chooses. Changes to other applications can effect the system default decoders, so this may be why GB-PVR was all of a sudden effected.

It seems to be using 'Nero Video Decoder' and 'MPEG Audio Decoder', both of which have caused problems for some users in the past - particularly the nero decoder.

Try some other decoders.

I have tried all decoders available including Hauppauge. nothing helped. Please, see the logs.

Here is the message from Windows media center, which I never use and Ia m not familiar with:

VIDEO ERROR
Files needed to display video are not installed or not working correctly.

What could go wrong?! I can watch video, just Live TV does not work (and recording of it, of course)

Install and select these decoders:

http://www.free-codecs.com/download/MPV_Decoder.htm
http://www.free-codecs.com/download/MPA_Decoder.htm

and set your audio render back to 'system default'.

If that doesnt work, post those logs again, with these decoders selected, and I'll take another look.

where should I put them??
I put them first in Windows directory, then into System32... but nothing. Config doesn't see them.

If it is important, files are in directories "MPA Decoder" and "MPV Decoder", and directories are in System32.

It looks like its not managing to lock any signal. Do recordings working?

Does the device work in any other software? If not, you may need to check if you antenna is providing a decent signal.
