XRecord - recordings image

how do I get my posters of the recordings to show in xrecord...?? I have the posters in the same directory as the recording but it still shows the standard poster...

actually there is an art directory under gbpvr. Call it the same name as the show. You can also hit the stop button to download icons.

Jorm -

Have you considered also looking in the directory to see if their is a folder image? That way xrecord could use any show artwork downloaded by the Video Archiver or My Videos plug-ins.

that is a good idea. what image names do you use folder.png, folder.jpg?

Yes. I search for folder.png, the .gif and then .jpg. I do the png and gif first because theysupport transparent backgrounds, which if present look better.

Where do the D1 and D2 show logos come from? Would it be possible to have an automatic downloading of show posters? I prefer the D1 myself, are these from IMDB or whatever?

A couple questions I want to get confirmed:

Are CDK and rectracker fully integrated and activated with the lastest XRecord?

or

Do I need to download cdk and rectracker if I install the latest xrecord?

Personal request:

I always tweak a little when I go into xrecord, because the active selection starts in the ready recordings window. I would prefer that the "cursor" start on "ready" in the left hand menu.

Then you can get to other options without moving over first, or push right or "ok" or "enter" to select.

cdk and rectracker are fully included. Just add the rectracker -purge line in the postepgupdate.


D1 is imdb,
D2 is tv tomb.

As for your personal request. Run config do something in xrecord to cause it to save. Then open up config.xml look in xrecord there is something about focus, change it to the oposite. If false change it to true.

That will do it.

WHen I select scheduler from xrecord screen get error "could not find.... PriorityRecordings.xml"

what do I need to do to fix this?
