Ton Wrote:Hi,

Yes, you need to create PostProcessing.bat yourself, if it isn't there yet...

With regards to 2XBMC, it reads the recording meta-data from the file's alternate stream. This is only available on a NTFS file-system, unsure if that's what you're using. I think I saw a posting of an update of the tool that reads the information from the database. If you don't have NTFS, you could give that one a try.....

So, please give the other tool a try and see if that fixes the issues....

I have set up vidimport to create nfo files from all files in a directory. Just set it to nfo=yes and if you don't want it to import into the gbpvr database then have it output an xml file that you don't import later.

Okay,

Try dropping the attached file into "...myGBPVR/resources/src" (copy the original file if you want). If this fixes the issue, you can put your original "home.py" back......

I will also (when I've heard back from you that all is okay) update the archive and included this fix....

Fixed! Many thanks Smile

One thing I have found though is that on the confluence skin, it is confusing in the EPG when you set a record. I select a program to record and press my "OK" button and I get 2 windows up - the record program button and the "select date" screen. Am I pressing the wrong button? Additionally, when you have 2 menu items, the selected item looks to be unselected as the selection is just the grid turned black. Would it be possible to change the selection outline to something more visible and obvious? Also, would it be possible to have the program info in a larger box so I can see it all in one go?

Many thanks for the work - it's really good to be able to control my GB-PVR box from xbmc!

Hi
Thanks for the tip.

I have run vidImport on the directory containing the GBPVR recording and it created the nfo's fine.

In XMBC. If I do "scan for new content". It adds the information to the XBMC DB but it also creates duplicates.. How did you set it up in XBMC ?

Thanks!

There is an option in XBMC to clear the database - you may want to try that and then reload the data.

Mmm, there's two things I'd say:
-> With regards to the selection colors, I've coded the skin against the PM3HD theme for XBMC. It looks really great there... At this moment I have no intention to re-skin for Confluence. You could try playing around with the skin xml-files or the images I now use for the skinning....

-> With regards to the buttons... I use two seperate actions for the EPG, being:
1) the "onclick" event for the button -> this shows the program information and gives the option to record
2) Either one of the following button-presses: ACTION_WHITE, PAD_WHITE, ACTION_REMOTE_INFO, REMOTE_INFO, KEYBOARD_HOME, ACTION_MOUSE_RIGHT_CLICK -> this shows the "goto date" option

It would look that you're remote is set up a little funky, so that when you press "OK" it performs more then one XBMC-action (maybe both REMOTE_INFO and click event). I'm no XBMC expert, but I would recommend going to the XBMC forums and search for remote setup (more then one event) there....

i see it getting to server so connection looks ok, notice the dates in ewa log are of different format..

i'll try setting date format same as expected in local settings and see what happens..
i'm thinking that's why it's not matching the dates..wrong order..

tried and no effect...same thing and errors..

Hi,
I did remove all shows from the database. The "TV Shows " option was removed. So I set again the content as TV show and XBMC rescanned the directory and still created duplicates.. Very strange. The directory contains only one nfo per recording. Any ideas ?

Hi SomeOne,
I've stopped using the Library feature for TV Recordings - I modified the menu so that the "TV Recordings" goes straight into File Mode. I like it better that way.
I was getting the same problem with 2 of every episode at one stage. From memory, I think that there needs to be a tvshow.nfo in the show's directory and an nfo for each episode. The episodes must also be named with "s01e01" format and all of that stopped the duplication.
