Is there a simple way to get a snapshot of live tv or from a recorded show?

OK. I could do that. I'm sure there are a lot more important things to be dealing with than this. If I can run an external program to get the job done I'll do that. No worries.

If you're using a Hauppauge tuner card, the included WinTV app will capture multiple screen shots.
