some questions

First off i just wanted to say this is a great site and very helpful.I have a few questions i am a noobie to this and am planning on building a stand alone htpc.Was wandering if this will be a good start my specs- Amd athlon xp 2000+,512 ddr 266 mem,120 gig harddrive,geforce 4 mx440 with tv out, Hauppauge WinTV-PVR-150MCE "just ordered today" need a mini atx motherboard still and a nice sub $150 htpc case. Just wandering if this will do? And my second question is i didnt get a remote with my wintv-150 because its the mce version does this version support remotes? if so what the best one to use,Will this one work? http://registration.hauppauge.com/websto...ID=1224410 Well thank for all the help guys remember if i forgot something take it easy im new here. later

the 150mce remote doesnt support an remote, so in wont work with that card it only works with the 150/250/350 and mvp (might be a couple of others aswell, but the card needs an port for the remote on the back, which the 150mce doesnt). if i was you i would cancel the order and get the normal 150 which comes with the remote.

was eventually going to get 2 win tv 150 s so i could watch tv and record a different station at the same time, If i get the regular 150 with the remote will i be able to use the remote and will the two cards funtion together?
