Thanks sub that got it working fine now, talk about from famine to feast I also got dvbtoxmltv working for SBS using

Got my EPG going now. I had to create a new .ini file and add it as a new capture device. Not sure why, but it's working fine now.

All good! As I have multiple tuners, I think I'll get one of these:

I notice on the SBS website ( http://www20.sbs.com.au/transmissions/ )
that it also lists a bunch of Horizontal frequencies

Are these available for use in GBPVR? (I can't check as no sat PC set up at the moment)
They appear in the lyngsat listings for D1 as well. http://www.lyngsat.com/optusd1.html

edit: Oh, it looks like the verical polarity is the only sat freq which has beams on both NZ & Autralia.

I'm fairly sure those other transmissions dont make it to New Zealand.

I notice that ABC is also broadcast on Optus D1. Are we able to get ABC aswell as SBS? And how would we scan for it?
