My driver seems to be a bit newer. Maybe try the latest driver from Hauppauge.com.

The bottom of this page has a newer driver: http://www.hauppauge.com/site/support/su...r950q.html

The "27230" part of you driver version is a year/day code. The driver on that page is "28011"... 11th of jan 2010.

ok... restarted now driver is reported as 1.94.28011.0. No change, still only one listing as ATSC....deleted npvr.db3 ...still no dice. I see some hair pulling in my future. LOL

Nope...no difference. There is one little thing thats popping up, every once in a while, in the log that wasnt there before.... a render rate. Other than that im still at square one with ATSC only. Ive un/reinstalled WINTV7 just to double check things. Its working correctly in WINTV7.... so this silly thing is working.

Another patch for you to try. Its now assuming a HVR-950Q supports QAM even if the drivers dont claim thats the case.
