using Hauppauge 950Q - problems with analog

I have a Hauppauge 950Q.
I added channels to the analog device, but will not tune in.

under devices I see:

NPVR automatically finds and lists an analog device, but shows it as not present.

what does "No" under "Present" mean?
and why am I getting it?

You probably don't have the Hauppuage SoftPVR components installed. See the sticky in my signature.

If you do have them installed, then view the devices screen and then post your NPVR log.
