It use to have code that would directly run ComSkip.exe when it finished recording. I dont want that level of integration any more. It does run a PostProcessing.bat (if it exists) when it starts recording though, so you can easily create a PostProcessing.bat which runs "c:\path\to\comskip.exe %1" and it'll do the same thing as GB-PVR used to.

(or ParallelProcessing.bat if you prefer to run at the same time as recording)

I'd be careful, I had to replace this in Web Radio, it is really based on GBPVR (not even PVRx2) data structures.

Hi Sub,

I would like to put forward a suggestion regarding the new Recording area UI.

In the older GB-PVR program, or using the "Screen Type" of "Old Style", there is a clear and obvious menu. In the "New Style" there is still a menu but it is hidden and confused as simply a page heading. It is not immediately obvious that the LEFT and RIGHT buttons scroll that heading to select the other menu items.

My suggestion is to adopt the new top level horizontal scrolling menu style into the Recording menu (and any other of this style of menu). Have the current option in the centre of the screen and highlighted with the other options to the left and right as progressively dimmed etc. This would bring a consistency to menu presentation and provides immediate feedback that this is a menu while still highlighting the currently selected menu item.

I hope my intention behind this suggestion makes sense. Please ask if clarification is required.

Thanks for all the great effort.

Regards,
Ian.

I personally like the new style. It gives us a lot more screen real estate to display data without it looking to jumbled.

I've put small left/right arrows next to the active list to give a visual indication there is something left/right. The user can also click them.

In the past I had tried the dimmed scrolling list like you described, but it didnt look quite right.

Is there a way to set list style for all content?
Or even to have it remember the view you were in last time?
Each time I execute nextpvr.exe (or reboot the NMT) and go into videos section it uses the thumbnail view.

Two of us mentioned it actually & I can't even see anything in the list views when I do change to them & coversview don't scroll properly, in fact it is almost not usable.....so actually on the NMT with this build NPVR is almost totally unusable for me.

Most welcome, thanks. The more "mouseable" and touchscreenable" the better for me.
