Ok, as I mentioned, you wont be able to do analog with that device unless you add that section I mentioned to the AnalogDevices.xml, and get SoftPVR components from someone. Sorry, but analog isnt as straight forward as digital.

Not a problem, I appreciate the help and advice.

Well I guess I need a Hauppauge user to zip up their C:\Program Files\WinTV\WinTV7\SoftPVR directory for me. Any takers?

This is a long thread but hopefully it is the correct place for an old feature question and perhaps a request.
1- in GBPVR you could jump forward by pressing a number and enter for the number of minutes you wanted to go. It does not seem to do this. Any jump forwards? 2-when the timeline is up, it would be great to be able to click it an jump to that position. I know, I am down to the tickytacky stuff. I just recorded 2 perfect shows at the same time. One digital and one analog. Now I just need to work on comskip and it rolls out to the family!

Sub,
I have registered the SoftPVR filters and updated AnalogDevices.xml (could only find it in folder C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\NPVR). Still only see the ATSC device. Any ideas? Thanks
