Analogue OK (after a bit of messing to get channel selected).
DVB-S scans and works fine.
DVB-T did work with the original download, but now it hangs at the beginning of scanning. (I still have various patches from the dvb-s thread).
It just sits with the first mux frequency on screen and doesn't move on. hitting cancel pops up an exception box.
Just checked with gbpvr and scanning working (to make sure device+driver still running).

p.s. exception is one where task manager is needed to kill npvr off otherwise sits in loop - cancel, exception, cancel etc).

Is this a USB or PCI device? I've just hunted through my very large Hauppauge device collection, and couldnt find the same device. I found similarly named devices, but not this exact one.

Try again with this patch then post the npvr.log/nrecord.log again. It'll still fail, but I added a couple of log messages that might help find the cause.

Thanks again.
The device is a Hauppague nova-t-500 which is a PCI card. I think it is based in USB tuners and stuff with VIA usb chips on board.
It has worked fine with gbpvr and has worked once with npvr when it was totally unpatched. (same drivers).

Have added the new unmanged patch and get the same hang. Log enclosed - note singular - there was no nrecord.log produced this time ???

device ID's from device manager below, if of any use in identifying. I guess the device name comes from the driver and I'm using 4.3.27240.0
