Webradio 3.2

Does WB3.2 do anything to affect a scan? I ask because after installing it, and running a scan, my normal channels do not show up. I do however get 136 encrypted channels to show.

I can't imagine how Web Radio would impact the scan. NPVR does have a change, previously selected stations don't show in the list to choose new stations.

It's probably just my flaky system.
By the way, I was listening to WebRadio at my office today (don't have a tuner but have NPVR installed anyway) and though I had it low so as not to bother others around me, I found I wasn't the only one to enjoy it. Makes the day go by so much faster.

I have had to set the pre-play buffer to 192 kb to get the stream to play. I tried this station in NPVR but only plays for about 30 seconds before dropping out.

I was wondering if you could add an option to the npvr plugin that would allow you to change the pre-play buffer. Thanks.

I always find it ironic trying streams on streamtheworld.com when I get the message "Your geographic location is forbidden" CBS in second to Clear Channel for killing FM Radio.

I any case I can't stream that here, so I will need your VLC.log file from the temp folder to see if I can find a reason. A low bandwidth stream like this should not need 196k buffer.

Oh... 1000 thanks for digging that up. I've been dealing with that crummy signal for a long time.

Thanks, the log show what I suspected the stream is really full of errors and it isn't really the buffer as much as is shorter time buffering that is causing the problem. I don't think it is worth increasing the wait time at this point simply to accomodate such a bad stream. I'll keep an eye out for this though and might add a buffer time parameter.
