Blank Recordings

My HDHomerun is recording blanks. If I go to C:Temp/manual recordings the recordings are there but have 0 bytes. I didn't change anything sometimes it just starts doing that. It did that once before I did something and it started working right now its recording blanks. What causes this and how do I stop it?

Last time it did that to me was when I upgraded to 1.4.7 and I had to go into HDHomeRun Setup, Application tab, and change Main Application from GB-PVR to Other: ATSC/QAM.

Its working perfectly in all respects but records blanks
"0 bytes" I down loaded 1.4.7 fresh and reinstalled it.
It configured itself with the old settings.
How do you get rid of the old setting if you reinstall GB-pvr?

My guess is it's something to do with your firewall software, stopping the HDHomeRun data getting to GBPVRRecordingService.exe. Thats the usual cause of zero byte recordings for HDHR users.

I see others have had 0 byte problems. None of those solutions work for me though. I'll post logs.

what should I put in the exceptions,GB-PVR recording service?

The processes that can access the tuner include Config.exe, GBPVRRecordingService.exe or PVRX2.exe, so these would all need to be able to receive data from the HDHR.
