But wouldn't it be simple to update the installer with the latest version of whatever plugin? As easy as writing a new installer for each release of each plugin.
Generally, once I have a set that I like, I tend to keep them, and not jump on each new release as it comes up, unless it's got a very different, desirable feature, that previous releases didn't have.
(Just thinking out loud).
Maybe have a release schedule. Once every 3 months (that's on 4 a year) updates, that may only include new, and radically different plugin releases.
I would be happy to port the most popular 2 or 3 of my skins for all the plugins you intend to include. (blatant plug for my stuff )
