Same issue with the zero kb files here. Just updated to 9112b last night and found the zero byte files today. Just starting to troubleshoot this now. Posting here simply to let everyone know there's another person witht the same issue.

You and slayer (who is also using a non-DVB card) have a different problem than the other posts in this thread.

Clanky,

Which MPEG-2 mux filter are you using? I found I was prone to 0KB files with the Cyberlink mux (not always but fairly often) and it generated unhandled exceptions in the recording service (paricularly with two recordings back to back). Using the Intervideo one generally recorded gibberish (don't ask me why but I never had any luck with that one). I've mostly settled on the Showshifter mux for the time being - it's been the most stable so far on my system.

Cheers,
Brian

The symptoms seemed similar. The issues I was experiencing appear to have been fixed. I performed a 1 repair (no luck), then performed another with a fresh download.

I'm using the Cyberlink 5.0.0.727 version.

Cyberlink too 5.0.0.27? .

Did have the showshifter app installed on system, but that just broke the machine Smile, so uninstalled. I couldn't figure out which files to keep for the mux
