Hi,
I have a Hauppauge PVR150, and have been using it with GBPVR (0.91.12 and some prior versions) for a little while now. Overall, it's been great. I was watching TV the other night, when the image changed. Note that while I can imagine skepticism about this, I really wasn't doing anything other than watching. No software installs, no hardware changes, no reconfigs, nothing.
Anyhow, the picture changed such that it was vertically striped and the audio had noise in it. The striping was clearly portions of the video, just displaced. At first, I thought it was a signal issue. But, other programs (Hauppauge's WinTV2k and Media Portal) work just fine. In fact, GBPVR in timeshift mode also has no image quality problems. It's only in live preview mode.
To give an idea of what I'm talking about, I've attached two small jpeg screen captures indicating the issue (I hope).
So, I attempted to make some config changes to sort this out. I ended up removing GBPVR and reinstalling from scratch - no difference in the final result.
I'm baffled, and would love to hear some ideas/suggestions. I've grown to vastly prefer GBPVR over the other applications and would like to get it back to where it was.
Thanks,
-b
