FM Radio

When trying FM radio, I only hear a sound for a split second then nothing. The temp file shows radio is continuing as it grows. Status shows the analog tuner playing radio. There are no other sound problems that I am having.

I just installed nPVR and tested the fm radio. It worked just out of the box. But i remember, that nPVR is really... mhm... i don't know the english word for this. nPVR does NOT work with so many decoders, GB-PVR did.

I compared your logfile with my one and could see the following difference:

The fact, that your temporary file is increasing in it's size, let's think, that fm radio is working. You just don't hear it, because of a wrong decoder combination. I tested it with my HVR-2200 (PAL) on my Windows 7 Pro 64-bit system. I am using the Microsoft DTV decoders (just because my loved PowerDVD 7.x decoders don't like nPVR...).

Paul, I do suspect its related to the MPEG1 Layer 2 audio decoder you have selected. Can you try other decoders options you have listed for that decoder?

I have tried ffdshow, mpeg and nvidia audio, Monogram AAC, MPC audio, Main Concept, Sonic Cinemaster, Ulead MPeg, MP3 and Audio and ATI. Doesn't make a difference. With some, I don't even hear the brief second of sound but with most I do. My card appears to be working as FM Radio works in Media Center.
Really, it's not something I would use often, I was mainly testing it out. But, if I have problems, others may also.
